What is the deadline for order to be delivered for Christmas?

12/16/12 will be the deadline for belt orders to guarantee Christmas delivery.  I will make all attempts to quickly ship all belt orders placed after that date.  All the belts are hand made and I'm working like a little elf to have everybody's Christmas gifts delivered on time.

How do I know what size belt to order?    

The style of buckle that you will wear on the belt determines the belt size.   If the belt is going to be worn with the standard buckle, -(this buckle comes with the belt) then you will need to order your belt 2" bigger than your pants size.

If you are planning on wearing a buckle like we have on our web site - (example)-, then you would need to order your  belt the same size as your pants size.

or

If you are using an old belt to find your size, please follow the instructions below to insure a proper fitting belt.
 Use this diagram:
Measure from where the leather bends around the buckle to the hole you use the most.

The result will be a belt that will fit you with 2 holes on either side of where you will wear it for flexibility.
The belt size is NOT the total length of a belt, it is to the center hole of the finished belt.

If you are ordering a Mechanic's Belt, you would order your belt the same size as your pants size.

Will the measurement I give on the order be the total length of the belt?

No.  All of our belts come with at least 5-6 holes.  The measurement you give on your order will be the measurement to the center hole of the belt.   There will be at least 2 holes on each side for expansion or shrinkage of your waist size.  The end of the belt is generally cut 6 " from the center hole, giving you plenty of a leather flap to tuck in.

How wide should the belt I order be?

This depends on how you are going to wear the belt.  If you are going to wear the belt with dress pants or slacks then the 1-1/4" width is the more preferred width.  For jeans or casual wear the 1-1/2" width would be fine.  Some people like the extra wide width of 1-3/4".  BE  AWARE though,  not all pants now-a-days will accommodate this width of a belt.  Pants loops seem to be getting more narrow so check before you order this width.

Do your belts have a way that the buckle can be changed?

Nearly all of our belts have snaps so that you can change your buckle.  The 2-3 Hole style belts and some of the Dress Belts have screws.  Either way, the buckle can be changed.

 Can I mail my order to you with a Money Order or Check?

 The most simple way to do this is to go through the web site and "Add to Cart" all the items you are interested in.  When you are finished shopping just click the "Check Out Now".  You will then see the the following as one of your four payment options.

Order by Check/Money Order through Postal Mail

Just click this option and follow the instructions on the address information page.  Once you hit the submit button you will have a printable order form that you may mail in with your check or money order.  Our address is on the form.  Enclose a Check or Money Order form the amount due and that's it.

How do you ship my order?

For the best shipping rates, we ship all packages by Priority Mail.  You will receive your package in your mail box or Post Office box.  Please call us if you need your package sent by UPS.

How long does it take for my order to be processed?

Most buckle orders are shipped within 2-3 days of  receipt.  On orders which contain Hand Tooled Belts, Mechanic's Belts, or Concho Belts - you may need to allow 5-7 days of production time.  These styles of belts are "hand made from scratch" and require some extra time.  If you will need your belt in a hurry, please give us a call and we will try our best to accommodate you.

How long will it take for me to get my order once it is shipped?

We ship by Priority Mail which usually takes 3-4 business days to arrive.  We are on the East Coast of the USA so depending on where you are determines the amount of time.  We have found out that it takes about 4 days to get orders to California from where we are.

How about if I need my order shipped Next Day Express?

This can be arranged for certain items and if the order is placed early enough in the day.  This is not a recommended method of shipping.  Express US Mail no longer guarantees over night delivery to most areas.  They say it will be two days in most cases.  We will put every effort forward to try to help you though.
